Roy Named North Carolina East District "Pastor of the Year"
Old Zion Wesleyan Church Pastor, Billy Roy was recognized as "Pastor of the Year" by the North Carolina East District during the annual awards banquet held on Wednesday, August 1, at Mt. Zion Wesleyan Church in Thomasville. The award recognizes outstanding achievement, performance, and spiritual leadership as a pastor. Congratulations Pastor Billy!

Pastor Appreciation Turns Into 25th Wedding Anniversary Celebration A Sunday morning, June 24, Pastor Appreciation Service in honor of Rev. Billy Roy's second year as pastor of Tabor City Old Zion Wesleyan Church turned into a surprise 25th Wedding Anniversary for Billy and his wife, Beth, as the congregation enjoyed a covered-dish lunch together in the new Family Life Center. The festivities included an anniversary cake, a money tree and other gifts, a special song written and performed by OZWC youth, a toast from the Roy's children, Andy and Emily, and many kind remarks from family, friends and congregation. Several family members and church members from the Piedmont and Tennessee attended the event.

The “Bell Sheep” Award recognizes those who posses leadership abilities and unquestioned character, people who are truly committed to the work of the Church, those who are sincerely making a positive difference in our flock.
